Principal, Mike Burnside, B.PHE, CSEP-Certified Exercise Physiologist
Mike studied kinesiology at the University of Toronto. He instructed exercise and gymnastics at his alma mater for 5 years. With over 15 years professional experience in active living, fitness/sport training and preventive health, and a real passion for movement, Mike also completed hospital training at St. Paul's hospital, Vancouver, focusing on listening skills, psycho-social support and patient advocacy.
We all fall away from good diet and exercise from time to time. It is about progress not perfection. We can all recover from problem habits and discover long-term healthy alternatives!
I want your fitness training to be enjoyable. Good training stimulates physical, mental and social growth and development. It also calls for generous amounts of rest and good nutrition. I believe that everyone can move better for work and play, and so, the training sessions ensure 'easy mastery' methods.
