Society of BC (KidStart Mentoring Program) is looking for volunteers 19 years of age and older who are interested in spending 3 hours a week, mentoring an at-risk child or youth. This program works primarily with children or youth who are facing difficulties in their lives that leave them vulnerable to high risk activities. Volunteer Mentors serve as consistent and positive role models who encourage the young person’s participation in recreational activities and provide opportunities to experience success and achievement.
