Volunteer Mentors
ARE YOU MAN ENOUGH TO BE A MENTOR?
The North Shore Mentoring Program is looking for male volunteers, 19 years of age and older, who are interested in being a leader, coach, support and positive role model to a young boy in the North Shore Community. This program provides service to at risk children and youth between the ages of 6-16 who are in need of a positive role model in their lives. Volunteers spend as little as 2 hours a week with their mentee attending community or sporting events, going to movies, playing sports or volunteering together.

Society of BC (KidStart Mentoring Program) is looking for volunteers 19 years of age and older who are interested in spending 3 hours a week, mentoring an at-risk child or youth. This program works primarily with children or youth who are facing difficulties in their lives that leave them vulnerable to high risk activities. Volunteer Mentors serve as consistent and positive role models who encourage the young person’s participation in recreational activities and provide opportunities to experience success and achievement.
