If so, then I apologize for the verbal beat downs you were sure to have received, but the good news is that special brain of yours might fit in well with a group of people in Redmond, Washington
We are looking for SDETs (who isn't? I know, but hear me out.)
These are the things that make it different than your standard SDET role:
I need somebody that automates in his or her sleep. Any video evidence that you could provide of you actually designing automation frameworks while throwing down Zs would be helpful. Automation is HUGE!
I need somebody that is good at DEFINING the best tests to use and DESIGNING them as well. An individual that is not afraid to voice his or her opinions on these matters is key.
I need somebody that is a good mentor. Ever tutor those same kids that made fun of your fancy mathematical formulas and efficient F.O.I.L.ing?
I need somebody with a strong development background. Language doesn't matter (C#, C++ or Java).
You'll be responsible for automation of tools and harness creation for complex front end UI and back-end features. You will definitely be a big picture kind of person.
You'll be working for a well-established company and be able to rake in well-established bonuses, benefits, and perks. (3 weeks of PTO with 10 holidays and 10 sick days to start, options, fun environment, etc.)

You as the Oracle Database Architect will work on extremely complex problems (significant and unique) where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variance factors. You will provide architectural guidance to development for Oracle performance and scalability. You will also l design and help develop database solutions optimized for performance. This includes physical table modeling, indexes, SQL and PL/SQL optimization, lock and latch contention, IO and operating systems.
If you have a degree, solid experience with databases to include architecture, solid "in-depth" experience with performance tuning, experience with Oracle 9i and 10g, Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters), Large Volume OLTP, Oracle Enterprise Manager. A client of A.C.Coy's is seeking a talented Human Factors/ User Interface Design Engineer to join them on a 90 day Temp to Perm Basis, at their Burnaby B.C corporate location. You as the Human Factors/ User Interface Design Engineer will be a analytic problem solver who can synthesize user research, user interface design principles and business requirements into well designed, intuitive solutions for health care applications. You will be primarily responsible for leading User Research, User Interface Design, and Usability Evaluation activities within an iterative product lifecycle. This will include planning and conducting field studies at client sites to produce user analyses artifacts (e.g., user profiles, personas, user needs), work flow and task analyses artifacts (e.g., user scenarios) and user requirements.
