Our Chilliwack based client seeks a Controller for this newly created role to provide mainstream Controllership expertise coupled with tenacious business development. Reporting directly to the President your time will be divided as follows:
- 45% on financial reporting, budgeting/forecasting, performance analysis and overseeing the accounting function.
- 55% on business development, sales and managing client relationships.

Requirements:

At the same time a solid base in accounting is required to manage the financial aspects of the job.

Reporting directly to the Controller and managing two direct reports your principal responsibilities will include:
• The preparation of monthly financial statement for a variety of Group companies.
• Performance and profitability analysis against budgets and other financial information.
• Business planning including budgeting, forecasting and cash management.
• Overseeing the inventory, accounts receivable, payroll and accounts payable processes.
