Sales Engineer
MPC Consulting Ltd, located in Sidney, British Columbia (20 minutes from Victoria), is a leader in the field of SCADA, Control Systems and Instrumentation. We are seeking a Sales Engineer to join our growing high tech company.
The Sales Engineer is responsible for establishing new customers and maintaining existing customers in a variety of industries; to increase MPC’s market share; and to help maintain the company as a leader in Control Systems, SCADA and Instrumentation business. The Sales Engineer will use their technical knowledge to explain the various products and services provided by the company. The position will develop, execute and manage the company’s overall marketing strategies and will perform the sales effort. The Sales Engineer reports directly to the President and represents the company’s position on project requirements in technical meetings. The position is also responsible for preparing proposals and quotes. </br>
Qualifications
<LI>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 3 years directly related experience, OR</LI>
<LI>Technology Diploma in Control Systems and Instrumentation and 5 years directly related experience;</LI>
<LI>Experience in sales or in a technical occupation related to the products/ services; </LI>
<LI>A combination of experience with Control Systems, SCADA Systems, Instrumentation and PLCs is highly preferred;</LI>
<LI>Experience cold calling and developing customers as well as maintaining existing relationships;</LI>
<LI>Experience developing and executing marketing strategies and objectives are preferred; </LI>
<LI>Experience determining potential customers are preferred;</LI>
<LI>Experience preparing quotes, writing proposals and making presentations are preferred;</LI>
<LI>Valid BC driver’s license and own vehicle. </LI></br>
