Blue Mountain Arts is interested in reviewing writings for publication on greeting cards. We are looking for highly original and creative submissions on friendship, family, special occasions, positive living, and other topics one person might want to share with another person. Submissions may also be considered for inclusion in book anthologies. We pay $300 per poem for all rights to publish it on a greeting card and $50 if your poem is used only in an anthology. Writer/reporter needed for urban music site (volunteer)
I operate an online urban music site: www.mariajackson.ca So far the site has been focused primarily on West Indian music but I would like to extend my coverage to include urban music on a whole. Because the magazine has been around for the past couple of years we have established relationships with promoters in different parts of the world meaning that my reporters are usually welcomed and encouraged to cover the different events.
What I am looking for are:
Writers/reporters who first and foremost would like to be involved in this business. People who are willing to prepare interesting, informative stories for the site and deliver them in a timely manner.
Writers/reporters has to submit at least one story with photos (photos can be taken from the internet they do not have to be originals) every week
Gossips or hearsays will not be accepted
Writers/reporters must have access to the internet, windows messenger and an active phone line

The successful candidate will be responsible to write, modify, integrate and test software code for .NET C# web applications, data processing applications, operating systems-level software and communications software. Must be a dynamic individual with intimate knowledge of the latest trends and tools utilized in web applications on the Internet and the ability to push the development boundaries.
Reporting to the IT Development Manager, the Job Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Proven skills working in ASP.NET, C# and ADO.NET

Web Designer
The ideal candidate will have a general understanding of .NET developing and possess a bachelor's degree in computer science with a significant design component or completion or a college program in computer science or graphic design. A portfolio of past desing work is essential.
The primary objective of the Web designer is research, design, develop and produce internet and intranet sites. Web Designer designs and constructs web pages/sites including incorpoating graphic user interface (GUI)features and other techniques. Maintains and provides ongoing design of the website, promos and ad banners, seasonal content specials and custom chat launcher design for partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with team members to develop and document web site requirements.
- Prepare mock-ups and storyboards
- develop web site architecture and determine hardware and software requirements.
- Source, select and organize information for inclusionn and design the appearance, layout and flow of the web site.
- Create and optimize content for web site using a variety of graphics, database, animation and other software.

Skills:
- Experiennced in HTML, Dreamweaver, CSS, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign REQUIRED
